Beautiful Freddy Beach

The last few days I have been running along the trail (former rail line) that crosses the Saint John river and then heads up the Nashwaak river. To cross the river I use "The Walking Bridge" as its known to locals, seen in this picture. It was formerly a train bridge and it used to have a section that swung open to permit boats to pass. It is apparently the longest pedestrian bridge that is part of the Trans Canada Trail system. How lucky am I to live in this great city?
