Early Saturday

It's 6:30 and I've been up for an hour already in anticipation of the International Friendship Run (6K) that takes place this morning. Yesterday was spent being a tourist - WTC Ground Zero, Century 21 department store and a cruise to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. There was a reception for Team D last evening and then I went on my own to Virgil's Real Barbeque for supper. THE BEST RIBS I HAVE EVER HAD !!!!!!

Comments:
CONGRATS Pete...we were tracking your progress the whole day, and were very proud of the huge accomplishment. With that said, on a more personal note, I did notice that you weren't able to keep up with the blistering pace that I set for 5k in the Ottawa run...now if I could only repeat that 8 times, I'd really teach you something.

GREAT JOB Pete...all the family / extended family in Ottawa are very happy for you!! Can't wait to hear all about it.
