40 Days...
... is all that remains until The Marathon.
Throughout history, "40 days and 40 nights" has been a way to indicate a long time. It's the reputed length of biblical floods, time spent wandering the desert or on mountain tops communicating with God. It's how long Lent goes on for.
All I know is that it seems that race day is now very close at hand. Right about now a little voice inside starts to say things like,
"Are you crazy - why do you think that YOU can do this?"
